June 4th 2014 marked Prospero’s 10 year anniversary of providing facilities services in the offshore region. “It’s hard to believe Prospero is in the business for 10 years already, the time has gone by so fast!”, says James Pettigrew, Founder and Managing Director of Prospero Facilities Services Ltd, which operates across the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. “When you think back to where we started back in TT week of 2004, we’ve come on a long way in that time.”
Prospero has certainly grown since those early days, when James’ carefully wrapped suit could be found hanging in the back of his van, ready for him to change into as he went from doing a maintenance job himself to attending a business meeting. Today, Prospero is a fully integrated Facilities Services company, employing over 60 staff providing cleaning, security, mailroom, porterage and front of house / reception services in addition to an extensive range of technical services. With operations in the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, Prospero has become the first Facilities Management Company with a genuine pan-island presence capable of providing all services in-house.
